Who we are

We are friends and neighbors in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, who believe that investing in youth is among the most important work a person can do. Once a month we meet to plan scholarships, to honor students, and to prepare for the events where Mount Horeb counts on us. The club was chartered in 1995.

What's coming up

Kid's Zone at the Norsk July 3rd Celebration — Friday, July 3

The village gathers for fireworks; the Optimist Club fills the long wait with crafts, yard games, face painting, and a bouncy house. Free, on the festival grounds. Last year 200+ kids came through. Bring the kids.

Self-defense workshops — July 27 and August 10

Two workshops with Brandon Tracy, a Verona-based martial arts instructor — a class for women and girls on August 10, and, new this year, one for boys on July 27. See the events page for details.
